Belize Family Getaway
Belize Family Getaway
Belize Family Getaway: A pocket-friendly trip to see Belize’s main highlights in two safe, family-friendly destinations. After a visit to the Belize Zoo, you’ll stay three nights just outside the town of San Ignacio in Western Belize. Your hotel is located along the majestic Macal River, perfect for river tubing and canoeing when you’re not out exploring nearby Mayan ruins such as Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, ATM Cave, and Caracol. Cave tube, zipline, and/or rappel your way from inland Belize to the calm, blue Caribbean Sea for the remainder of your stay. Your newly constructed villa sits just outside of Placencia and comes with access to all the resort’s amenities – three pools, spa, marina, three restaurants, daily yoga, and watercrafts. They will then assist with your luggage and drive you from Belize City to San Ignacio. Feel free to stop at anytime during your private ground transfer for photo opportunities, restrooms, lunch, or to simply stretch your legs. If your international flight arrives early enough in the day, take advantage of the open afternoon with a stop at the Belize Zoo. Learn about Belize’s common and rare species that you may likely see again during your week’s visit. After your stop at the zoo, continue onwards to the western Cayo District and check into your eco-retreat at Table Rock. After a full day of travel, unwind with a tropical beverage in their open-air bar and restaurant. A delicious and fresh gourmet dinner is the perfect way to end your first day and start your Belize vacation.
