1. Day 1

   Fly into Belize City, Belize (BZE) where you will go through Immigrations and Customs and then walk directly over to the Tropic Air desk. You’ll then board a quick 20-minute domestic flight to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye.  Upon arrival you’ll be met by a host from Las Terrazas Resort and take a 15-minute boat road to their resort north of town.  Las Terrazas offers 37 luxury one, two, and three-bedroom suites with six different layouts ranging from 983 to 3,000 sq. ft.  Every unit on the property includes a full kitchen, living area, dining area, A/C, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, washer and dryer, and high end toiletries by Gilchrist & Soames.  Enjoy a delicious dinner at the on-site O Restaurant and relax – you’ve made it to Belize!

2. Day 2

   Wake up to the sounds and smells of the Caribbean and allow yourself to fully slip into vacation mode. This day is yours to relax on the white sand beach, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, or take a bicycle or golf cart into the town of San Pedro to explore restaurants and shops.  Be sure to pass by the on-site 5-star PADI dive shop to get fitted for your gear for tomorrow’s dive.

3. Day 3

   Diving Day!  Today you’ll head to the Mesoamerican Reef, which is located less than a mile from the resort, for two local dives.  The second longest barrier reef in the world is home to incredible marine life including sea turtles, rays, sharks, eels, seahorses, spotted drum, and the beautiful but invasive lionfish.  You’ll be sure to notice the abundance of healthy brain coral, sea fans, and elk horn coral.  Enjoy a two tank dive in shallow clear water to get used to your gear and shake the rust off as more challenging dives await you later in the week.

4. Day 4

   Let’s go fishing!  Whether you are an avid fly angler who wants to stalk bonefish, permit, and tarpon on the flats or a conventional angler who wants to catch a variety of reef fish, we’ve got you covered.  Our expert local guides boast decades of experience fishing ‘La Isla Bonita’ and our in-country expertise will match up the right guide to the type of fishing you want to do.

5. Day 5

   Diving Day!  Today you’ll strap on your fins for the main event – the Great Blue Hole.  This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the most iconic images of Belize and was named one of the world’s top ten dive sites by the famous Jacques Cousteau.  The Great Blue Hole is located 43 miles off the mainland in the Lighthouse Reef Atoll.  This full day excursion will include three dives, lunch on the beach, and memories to last a lifetime.

6. Day 6

   Let’s go fishing!  Head back to the water for another day of sportfishing or fly fishing in Belize.  If you catch something to eat like snapper, grouper, barracuda, or mackerel be sure to bring it back and have the O Restaurant prepare your very own catch-of-the-day.

7. Day 7

   Enjoy your last day in Belize!  This is a free day to be used as you see fit.  You can relax at the resort and use their complimentary kayaks, Hobie cats, bicycles, paddleboards, and water bikes or treat yourself to a pampering treatment (or two) at the Serenity Spa.  If you’d like to get on the water again, we recommend a quick snorkeling tour to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley for some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean along with a memorable experience of swimming with friendly nurse sharks.

8. Day 8

   Take a quick 25-minute domestic flight back to Belize City for your international flight home.
