Outside the airport you’ll find your private driver who will be holding a sign with our logo and your name on it.  They will then assist with your luggage and drive you from Belize City to San Ignacio.  Feel free to stop at anytime during your private ground transfer for photo opportunities, restrooms, lunch, or to simply stretch your legs.  Make a pit stop at the famous Belize Zoo to see Belize’s native species up close while learning about the zoo’s conservation efforts.  Continue to Western Belize and check into the well known and award winning Chaa Creek, one of Belize’s most established eco-retreats.  Chaa Creek is located on a 365-acre nature reserve and offers guests a number of on site activities with easy access to the area’s main highlights such as ATM Cave, Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, Caracol, and Tikal.

  2. Day 2

After a hearty a la carte breakfast in the early morning, you’ll explore the Mayan Underworld in one of the nearby cave systems.  Adventure seekers will enjoy reaching the famous sacrificial remains in the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave (ATM Cave).  For those that aren’t as fond of tight corridors as well as climbing and swimming, explore the Mayan Underworld via a kayak trip within Barton Creek Cave.  Return to Chaa Creek in the afternoon to walk through their on site butterfly farm and medicinal plant trail.  Relax by the pool with a cold beverage or splurge on a tropical spa treatment at sunset.

  3. Day 3

Today you’ll explore Mayan ruins above ground!  Choose between the nearby Xunantunich and Cahal Pech ruins or opt for a full day trip to Caracol or across the border to Tikal in Guatemala.  If you explore Xunantunich and/or Cahal Pech on a Saturday, be sure to also check out the bustling market in San Ignacio.

  4. Day 4

If you didn’t have a chance to experience cave tubing on Day 1, make sure to enjoy a cave tubing float in route to Cucumber Beach Marina back in Belize City.  Arrive to the marina by midday to set sail along the Belize Barrier Reef.  Explore powdery sand cayes while sailing along vibrant turquoise waters aboard your all-inclusive, luxury catamaran.  Choose to sail north to Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye or down south towards Placencia and Rio Dulce.  Customize your private sailing adventure with endless days of sailing lessons, fly fishing, reef fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking, or simply relaxing on the trampoline hammocks with a tropical cocktail.  Your all-inclusive catamaran features a captain with decades of sailing experience, gourmet chef, all your meals, snacks, wine, local beer, and all the rum you can handle!  The sailboats feature spacious air conditioned cabins, multiple bathrooms, swim platforms, kayaks, fishing gear, snorkeling equipment, various water toys, BBQ, LCD TVs with DVD, iPod stereo, and library full of books, games, DVDs, and CDs.

  5. Day 5

Wake up to a delicious breakfast of papaya and mango pancakes, crispy bacon, rum cinnamon french toast, omelets, fruit and yogurt.  Sail out to a remote, post card island and anchor for a couple hours to enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, diving, or beach combing.  Have a gourmet picnic lunch under the shade of palm trees before setting sail again.  Enjoy nightly sunset cocktails and coconut shrimp hor d’oeuvres while your chef prepares grilled lobster in garlic lime sauce.  Save room for dessert – banana coconut ginger rum creme brulee, chocolate rum brownies a la mode, and tropical spice cheesecake with warm banana rum sauce await you!

  6. Day 6

Make sure to visit one of Belize’s famous marine reserves for some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world.  Depending which direction you set sail, there is Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley to the north or South Water Marine Reserve to the south.

  7. Day 7

After a delicious breakfast, set sail to another uninhabited island for a day of water sport or relaxing.  You can also choose to explore an island town with shops, restaurants, and beach bars.  For those interested in a town visit, stay until evening to enjoy dinner, live music, and dancing.
