1. Day 1

   Fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) where one of our local airport representatives will meet you before immigration holding a sign with your name on it.  They will guide you through an expedited immigration process and to baggage claim.  Outside the airport you’ll find your private transfer that will be waiting to help you with your luggage.  Enjoy the scenic views as your private transfer takes you through misty mountains and local villages on your way to Arenal Volcano.  Feel free to stop for lunch/dinner, scenic photo opportunities, or to simply stretch your legs along the journey.  Once you’ve arrived to Arenal, you’ll check into the the intimate, adults-only Nayara Springs, a luxurious, ultra-exclusive boutique hotel at the base of Arenal Volcano.  Tonight, have a delicious, gourmet meal at Amor Loco before retiring to your villa with private plunge pool fed by thermal hot springs.

2. Day 2

   Enjoy complimentary yoga in the open-air pavilion before or after a delicious a la carte in-room breakfast.  Make today your day of exploration with a visit to the rainforest canopy during a guided hanging bridges nature hike.  Your expert naturalist guide will help point out various species of birds, mammals, insects, and more with his/her expertly trained eye.  Afterwards, enjoy a light snack and continue your day of exploration with a swim in La Fortuna Waterfall.  Return to Nayara Springs in time for lunch followed by a mid-to-late afternoon spa treatment.  Unwind with a cocktail at the piano bar and enjoy another delicacy for dinner at one of Nayara’s five different restaurants.

3. Day 3

   Today is a day of adventure!  Choose one or two of the following adventure activities – canopy zip-line, waterfall rappelling, whitewater rafting, or Gravity Falls waterfall jumping.  If you can find time between all the adventure and relaxation, squeeze in another delightful spa treatment at Nayara Springs.

4. Day 4

   After another delicious breakfast and complimentary yoga session, make your way from Arenal to the exclusive Papagayo Peninsula.  Here you’ll check into the chic Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort.  After checking into your roomy suite, dive into the adults-only, infinity edge pool overlooking the bay.  Make sure to check out the week’s rotating schedule to see which of the nature, cultural, or athletic activities you’d like to partake!  Tonight, see if there is a mixology course or ceviche class before your gourmet dinner.

5. Day 5

   Enjoy a free day to relax and enjoy the resort.  Swing from a hammock between palm trees on the beach with a tropical drink in hand or pamper yourself at Onda Spa with a rejuvenating spa treatment.  Explore the entire Papagayo Peninsula with Andaz’s complimentary shuttle service that can take you to/from the Four Seasons’ restaurants and the Arnold Palmer, 18-hole golf course.

6. Day 6

   Enjoy a full day or half day activity in the surrounding Guanacaste region – sunset catamaran with snorkeling, ATV backroad exploring, nature hikes, horseback riding, scuba diving, and more!  Dine in one of Andaz’s three gourmet restaurants for dinner or try something new by dining at the Four Seasons Resort.

7. Day 7

   Soak up the sunshine on your last full day in paradise!  Golf 9 or 18 holes, splurge on another spa day, or simply enjoy the fine art of doing nothing at all.

8. Day 8

   Take a private ground transfer to Liberia (LIR) for your international flight home.
