1. Day 1

   Fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR).  Outside the airport you’ll find your private driver holding a sign with your name on it. He/she will help you with your luggage and take you to the small Las Catalinas community about an hour from the airport.  Check into your rental unit at Las Catalinas and enjoy the refreshing ocean breezes right at your doorstep.  Walk down to the beach for your first swim in the warm Pacific waters.  Rinse off the salt water as you dive into the 25 meter lap pool up at the Beach Club.  Enjoy dinner on the beach under a twinkling string of patio lights at one of their beachside restaurants.

2. Day 2

   Wake up to a freshly prepared breakfast right in your own kitchen!  Your “House Mom” will arrive in the morning to prepare a delicious meal in the privacy of your own villa.  Afterwards, she will tidy up your unit and answer any questions you may have.  While she does so, feel free to escape the heat of the day in your private pool or head to the adults-only or kids’ pool up at the Beach Club.  Become better acquainted with the property and explore the nearby hiking trails, biking trails, restaurants, and shops in the growing beach town community.  Likewise, the inviting calm waters of Playa Danta are always a welcome retreat from the warm sunshine.

3. Day 3

   Take advantage of nearby sights through a half-day or full day tour activity.  For water enthusiasts, Las Catalinas Islands are a scuba diver’s’ play ground with various underwater volcanic formations creating a home for a plethora of marine life – octopus, seahorses, nurse sharks, large school of fish, whale sharks (seasonal), rays, and much more.  Snorkelers will also enjoy the larger marine species with a half day catamaran trip – dolphins, rays, and sea turtles to name a few.

4. Day 4

   Las Catalinas has plenty of opportunities to stay active during your stay, whether it’s on the property or in the surrounding tropical dry forest.  Wake up to a yoga or exercise class in the beachside pavillion.  Mountain bikers will enjoy over 20 km of singletrack mountain biking trails offering stunning ocean views.  Hikers will enjoy over 15 km of hiking trails varying from moderate to challenging hikes, including the uphill hike to the panoramic Punta Penca with rewarding views that overlook Las Catalians and surrounding region.

5. Day 5

   Lounge around Las Catalinas today and take advantage of its privileged beachfront location.  Sunbathe on the golden sand, boogie board in the waves as they break upon shore, paddle board out into the calm bay, or kayak to nearby volcanic formations (bring a fishing pole and try your luck at catching dinner!).

6. Day 6

   You can’t leave Costa Rica without doing a zip-line!  In the morning, fly from the longest and only dual ocean view zip-line in Costa Rica.  Or enjoy the zip-line just before sunset for a spectacular, colorful horizon over the ocean.

7. Day 7

   Enjoy your last full day in Costa Rica on the beach or by the pool!  Golfers can hit the green for 9 or 18-holes of play on one of three nearby golf courses.  In the evening celebrate your time in Costa Rica with a private chef who will prepare an exquisite dinner catered to your group’s taste within the privacy of your rental unit.

8. Day 8

   Take a private ground transfer to Liberia (LIR) for your international flight home.
