In this package you’ll first stay tucked in the rainforest at the base of Arenal Volcano with unlimited access to Tabacon’s world famous, natural hot springs. Adventure throughout Arenal’s lush rainforest filled with waterfalls and wildlife during the day and soak in the thermal waters in the evening. After three nights at Tabacon, trade thermal springs for white sand and warm Pacific water at Playa Conchal. Your all inclusive stay at The Westin allows you to alternate between pool bar and beach chair while enjoying tropical drinks and a la carte dining at eight different restaurants. With plenty to indulge in at both resorts, don’t forget all the adventure and scenic activities that await you in the surrounding tropical rainforest and Pacific Ocean.

Day 1
Fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) where one of our local airport representatives will meet you before immigration holding a sign with your name on it. They will guide you through an expedited immigration process and to baggage claim. Outside the airport you’ll find your private transfer that will be waiting to help you with your luggage. Enjoy the scenic 3 hour drive through the mountains as you make your way to Arenal Volcano. Stop in route for lunch/dinner before arriving to Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort. After you check into your room, head to Tabacon’s world famous natural hot springs to experience the perfect way to spend every afternoon and evening during your stay!

Day 2
Fill up on a sprawling, delicious breakfast buffet before a morning on the Lake Arenal. Kayak, paddleboard, or fish along Lake Arenal in the mid-morning with unobstructed volcano views. Add on another half day activity in the afternoon or head back to Tabacon to enjoy a spa treatment and the hot springs.

Day 3
Today you’ll horseback ride to the Fortuna Waterfall trailhead for a short hike. Cool off with a swim in the waterfall pool before your climb back up the hillside. Ride your horse to a nearby cabin to learn about the Maleku Indians, one of Costa Rica’s few remaining indigenous tribes that originates in the Arenal area. Ride back to the stables and soak any sore muscles from a day on horseback in the hot springs.

Day 4
Enjoy a leisurely float trip for wildlife viewing opportunities as you make your way from Arenal to Guanacaste. Prefer a more adventurous ride? If so you can paddle class III-IV rapids on a whitewater rafting trip between the two destinations. A fresh and delicious lunch will be served after your water tour of choice. Arrive to the beach around sunset and check into your all-inclusive stay at The Westin Resort.

Day 5
Today, explore all the amenities at The Westin Resort! Alternate your time between pool and beach while sipping on tropical drinks. Golfers can tee off at the Robert Trent Jones II championship golf course. For a pampering experience, an award-winning spa offers head-to-toe treatments with a large jacuzzi pool for spal guests to enjoy.

Day 6
See the Pacific coastline from above (way above) with a Superman canopy zip-line that stretches nearly one mile and ranked as one of the top 5 zip-lines in the world!

Day 7
Free day to enjoy the white sand beach. Enjoy the calm, blue waters with kayaks, Hobie Cats, and snorkel gear.

Take a private ground transfer to Liberia (LIR) for your international flight home.
