Fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) where one of our local airport representatives will meet you before immigration holding a sign with your name on it. They will guide you through an expedited immigration process and to baggage claim. Walk outside the airport and around the corner to the domestic flight terminal, where you’ll hop on a short 30-minute flight to the Central Pacific for your stay in Manuel Antonio. Check into your villa on the Tulemar property, a 33-acre private reserve surrounded by lush tropical rain forest that leads up to pristine coastline. Enjoy access to a beautiful, secluded beach directly on the Tulemar property, a unique feature for an accommodation in Manuel Antonio. Head down to the beach for a tropical drink or smoothie at Hideaway Beach Bar and slip your feet into the warm Pacific waters. Tonight, enjoy a gourmet dinner at the neighboring Victoria’s Italian Restaurant or have them deliver dinner right to your villa.
Become better acquainted with the surrounding flora and fauna of Costa Rica’s Central Pacific with a guided nature hike through Manuel Antonio National Park, “One of the World’s Most Beautiful National Parks” voted by Forbes in 2011. An early start will present better wildlife viewing opportunities when the jungle is more active before the heat of the day. With the help of your guide’s trained eye, keep a lookout for three species of monkey, sloth, toucans, macaws, iguanas, butterflies, and much more! After the guided nature walk is complete, you can choose to stay inside the park to enjoy the pristine beaches of white sand and calm blue waters.
Spend the day today within Tulemar’s reserve. Lounge under palm trees with beachside food and drink service, grab a kayak and snorkel gear and paddle out to nearby volcanic rock formations to see colorful schools of fish, or pool hop between all three pools on the property. Call and order dinner in as you watch the sunset from the comfort of your villa’s balcony.
A number of adventures await you today! Choose between whitewater rafting class II-III rapids, a canopy zip-line through the rainforest treetops, horseback riding to sparkling waterfalls, or ATVs through the jungle. Return to the serenity of your villa and take in the sweeping ocean views and the sounds of the tropical rainforest that surround you.
Enjoy a more leisurely paced day with a catamaran trip along the shoreline or a boat cruise through nearby mangroves to look for caimans, sloth, crocodiles, boas, monkeys, egrets, various bird species and much more. Arrange for an in-suite spa treatment and enjoy a rejuvenating massage in the privacy of your villa.
Spend the day playing in the ocean! Parasail over Manuel Antonio with a bird’s eye view of Manuel Antonio National Park. Other water rental options include surf boards, wakeboards, waterskis, jetskis, and banana boats.
Enjoy your last full day in Costa Rica on the beach. Celebrate your week in paradise by booking a private chef to prepare a gourmet dinner in the privacy of your villa.
